Yeah I wouldn?t mind one of the Freightliner diesel vans for hauling stuff.

I guess I don?t really need any more horns right now. But if these cabinets came with horns that already fit them...

What I need are some cabinets that are around 3-8 cuft (I know, big range right?). Furniture grade cabs preferred at this point for a living room speaker project.

Consider the times, so any Altec/whatever 15" up to 1952, so early 600 series, 803 or modern drivers with similar specs would be the best 'fit', i.e. all drivers for a given frame size had to be 'close enough'* spec wise regardless of brand if they wanted to compete with the main manufacturers, especially WRT replacement business.

    * Back then, variable bass/treble tone controls were the norm, so specs fell within this ~20 dB? adjustment range.

Sure, if you have a need for them, though if not hard in the corner[s] they 'll be dying pretty quick below ~80 Hz IIRC, so good to ~80 Hz*0.707 = ~57 Hz, rolling off to a ~40 Hz tuning in some solid corners, the published Fs of most 15" back then, though most me and others measured or published in later years when T/S became popular were closer to the cab's 2pi loaded ~57 Hz. Just as well since there were no [consumer] recordings with any usable output below ~50 Hz.

When I got the 828 cabs I was alone and all the seats were down. But man it barely fit the 817 cabs. My family was in the car and boy were they upset when they had to climb over the speakers to get in
I was shocked when you picked up those 817's in your van, WITH the wife and kids!

I thought I had measured the van well, but I guess not. I got lucky that they fit. And after we left your place we went and bought a puppy. It was everyone?s REAL reason for the trip. Or how I bribed them into it

Wasn't directed at me, but I have a few of the older cheap ones. Lepai? LePay? The names changed at some point and started confusing the issue. IIRC one fancier model died on me. I still have one in lo-fi service in the shed and probably another in a box somewhere.
